Intro to Gel Printing Workshop with Astrid Lempriere We will be looking at the tools to get you started, the method of caring to create beautiful textures and patterns, before jumping into producing your own unique artwork to take home. The workshop is perfect for beginners. No knowledge required, just a passion to learn & experiment. Topics we will cover: - How the process works, inking up, pulling a print, combining layers of inks and paint, dry on the gel before re-inking. - Layering and basic paper stencils, exploration of stencils and stamps: foliage, house hold objects, craft stencils, home made stamps, inks, paint pens and other felt pens - Uses and applications: cards, timber, artist books, combine with other printing making processes. What to bring. - Wear old clothes you don't mind getting paint on and comfortable shoes - Bottle of Water / Mug for hot drinks - Interesting Textures - if you have a texture you would like to try (and don't mind getting covered in paint), please bring it along. What will be supplied. - all materials - all equipment - Tea / Coffee facilities No Refunds upon cancellation
